Once a respected scholar of comparative religion, Manny now lives as a spiritual recluse, dismissed by his peers and estranged from his daughter. Caught between a father she doesn’t trust and a world she can’t predict, Cynthia walks a tightrope between intellectual mastery and emotional chaos.
